Panzer Generals Is Back, Yo
In the turn-based strategy genre, two series (for me, anyways) reign supreme: Advance Wars, and Panzer General. So it's with great delight that I see today that Ubisoft will be bringing the latter back, this time on Xbox Live Arcade.
Delight quickly turns to concern, however, when you see what they're doing with it. See, rather than simply apply a new coat of paint to a timeless, near-perfect balance of Nazi-flavoured rock, paper scissors, Panzer General will return as...a board game. With card collecting.
Shame. This new game could still be fun, especially since it's being developed by Petroglyph (SW: Empire at War), but it's still disappointing to see one of my favourite games returning in a genre that's...not one of my favourite.

Amânarea Starcraft II pentru 2010 nu va afecta lansarea Diablo III
În ciuda amânării jocului Starcraft II pentru 2010, Blizzard a dat asigurări că Diablo III nu va fi afectat de această schimbare.
"Pot confirma că mutarea lui Starcraft II în 2010 nu va afecta lansarea celorlalte jocuri ale noastre", a declarat preşedintele Blizzard, Mike Morhaime.
Când a fost întrebat dacă Diablo III şi Stracraft II ar putea fi lansate amândouă în 2010, Morhaime a lăsat să se înţeleagă că este posibil.
"Nu am dat publicităţii nici o dată de lansare pentru jocurile viitoare. Vrem să subliniez totuşi că s-ar putea lansa două noi jocuri Blizzard anul viitor, dar nu vă pot spune care vor fi aceste jocuri", a mai spus Morhaime.

Starcraft II, which was supposed to be released in Fall of 2009, was delayed to Spring 2010.
The move will coincide with the relaunch of Blizzard's Battle.net service.

Starcraft II, care trebuia sa iasa pe piata in toamna anului 2009, a fost amanat pentru primavara 2010.
Aceasta miscare va coincide cu relansarea serviciului Battle.net a lui Blizzard.

What's Blizzard up to, besides not finishing StarCraft 2? According to our friends at WoW.com, the developer is working on the next World of Warcraft expansion, Cataclysm, which will include two new races!
On the Horde side, players will be able to create Goblin characters. On the Alliance side, the new playable race is the Worgen (which means werewolf).
